UCF in the NFL, week five

1. Mike Walker (Jacksonville Jaguars) - Walker had the best game of his short NFL career in Monday's loss to the Steelers, catching six balls for 107 yards. He was thrown to nine times as he doubled his season total for catches.

2. Matt Prater (Denver Broncos) - The kicker rebounded from missing one field goal last week to hitting all three of his attempts in a win against Tampa Bay, including a long of 55 yards. Prater is 12-of-13 on his field-goal attempts and has hit all 15 of his extra points.

3. Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos) - Marshall had three catches for 25 yards against Tampa Bay, but it was his first game of the season without a touchdown reception. He was thrown to eight times during the game, but he finished third on his team in receiving yards.

4. Kevin Smith (Detroit Lions) - The rookie running back got his second touchdown of the season is the loss to Chicago. He ran eight times for 31 yards and caught four passes for 25 yards. In four games in the NFL, Smith has carried 37 times for 133 yards and two scores. In his first game with the Knights last season, he carried 35 times for 217 yards and two touchdowns.

5. Asante Samuel (Philadelphia Eagles) - Samuel recorded four tackles against Washington, bringing his season total to 12. It was also his second consecutive game without an interception and first of the season without a pass defensed.

6. Travis Fisher (Detroit Lions) - The cornerback had five total tackles in the loss to Chicago, his largest total of the season.
