According to a report released by the Orlando Sentinel, the body has been identified as Terri Krall, a 53-year-old woman. Detectives have ruled her death as a homicide.
The victim was reported to have been missing since Jan. 8.
According to public records, Krall was also convicted in 2004 of solicitation to commit prostitution. Authorities have not released further comments on the cause of death.
According to Krall's Facebook profile, she was originally from Shelbyville, Ind. She graduated from Lyman High School, which is located in Longwood, Fla.
In the About Me section of her profile, Krall suggested that she was looking for her husband, Rick Krall, to divorce him.

Authorities are now categorizing the death of the woman as suspicious. There have been no further updates on the woman's name or details about the cause of death.

A body has been found floating in Lake Ruth by a dog walker at 12:02 p.m., which is situated directly behind Pegasus Landing and near to UCF. The 911 call was made from 11793 Corporate Blvd., according to spokeswoman Cpl. Susan Soto.
Soto said the body has been identified as a white woman between 50 and 60 years of age. It is being treated as an on-going death investigation.
The body has been confirmed to have marks on it, but investigators have not commented on the source of these marks.
There has been no identifiable cause of death yet.
