UCF junior guard Isaac Sosa is going to be leaving the program.

Sosa, who logged many minutes this year as one of the Knights top shooting threats, is expected to be heading to Canisius College in New York. It is unclear whether transfer rules will require Sosa to sit out a season.

Sosa averaged 8.0 points per game and shot 40 percent from the field last season, and his roles ranged from starter to role player.

Sosa will be joining former Knights Dave Diakite and Jarvis Davis, who are also leaving the program. The transfers can most likely be attributed to what has become a crowded roster, with eight new players expected to be added for next season.

Three transfers had to sit out last season as a result of transfer rules, and the Knights currently have a recruiting class of five. That recruiting class is currently ranked No. 16 in the country.
