UCF unveils ‘Finish’ campaign

Long awaited by fans, the marketing campaign for UCF’s final year in Conference USA was unveiled by UCF Athletics.

The theme, unveiled on Friday, is “Finish” and centers on finishing “every tackle, header, spike and mile when its fall sports teams begin competition in less than one month.”

Desktop wallpapers, Facebook cover photos and profile pictures are all available online on the UCF Athletics Facebook page.

Former Knights cheerleader makes trip to perform at London Olympics

Jackie Martin, a member of the 2003 National Championship cheerleading team at UCF, will have a better view of the Summer Olympics in London than most.

Martin will be a cheerleader for Team USA during the semifinals and finals of the basketball events at the London Games.

Martin turned her collegiate cheerleading career at UCF, where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, into a professional career that has taken her around the world to several different continents.

Soccer, volleyball season tickets on sale

UCF Athletics has begun the sale of season tickets for more of its fall sports.

Season tickets for men’s soccer, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball all went on sale Thursday.

Key, Murray represent UCF at Conference USA Media Day

Newly promoted assistant head coach Brent Key and senior running back Latavius Murray represented the Knights at Conference USA’s Media Day in Dallas this past Wednesday.

Head coach George O’Leary was unable to make the trip.
