The National National Collegiate Athletic Association Committee on Infractions is scheduled to hold a teleconference Tuesday morning during which it will disclose its ruling regarding UCF’s major recruiting violations within the football and men’s basketball programs.

The NCAA released a 16-page report in November that detailed UCF’s violations, including involvement with Ken Caldwell and Brandon Bender who, according to the report, "assisted the institution in the recruitment of six men's basketball and five football prospective student-athletes."

The university completed an investigation with the NCAA’s review following the release of the report and consequently imposed several sanctions on the athletic program.

The committee may accept the school’s self-imposed penalties or increase the amount of sanctions as it sees appropriate.
