Give Graham's plan a chance

Judge Charles Francis' latest decision on the saga of who will control Florida university tuition rates is yet another stagnant step toward improvement of our already suffering schools. Former Sen. Bob Graham and his team will now have until Feb. 2 to revise their suit - their third and final chance.

Don't blindly follow early primaries

There are many things that the great states of Iowa and New Hampshire can claim. Both boast areas of wonderful scenery. One is a haven in the middle of the northeastern forests and mountains. The other sits on the beginning steps of the great plains and the breadbasket of the Midwest.

RB Kevin Smith's exodus is bittersweet

Talk about a slap in the face. Just as quickly as UCF running back Kevin Smith said he would return to UCF for his fourth and final season as a Knight, he blindsided his team and the rest of the UCF community with a decision to turn pro. When he made the choice less than a month ago to play another season, I, like many people, was shocked.
