A black male was found in a car in the parking lot of the Arbour Apartments Tuesday morning.

Correction appended: Due to receiving inaccurate information, an earlier version of this story stated that the victim in the shooting was a black male. The story has been changed to reflect that the victim was a white male.

Officials found a man dead in a car in one of the parking lots of the Arbour Apartments on Tuesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The victim is a white male with at least one gun shot wound, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

He has been identified as 21-year-old Frank Morse Perry, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Perry, who is not a UCF student, was found inside a silver Honda by a maintenance worker who then called 911 around 9 a.m.

The back parking lot of the Arbour Apartments is currently blocked off. The Arbour is located about 3 miles from UCF, it's off of Alafaya Trail between Phase I and Phase II of the Edge.

No further information regarding the victim's identity or the nature of his death is currently available. The investigation is ongoing.
