Two UCF-area women were robbed at gunpoint at the Sun Key Apartments near Goldenrod on Sunday evening.
A women threatened to commit suicide in her car with a rifle Tuesday evening near the Pegasus Pointe Apartments, said Jeff Williamson, Orange County Sheriff's Office public information officer.
Police were able to apprehend the woman and gain control of the rifle. The situation is under control, Williamson said.

Tailgating rules are changing for the second time in as many years for fans at UCF’s Bright House Networks stadium.
For the upcoming 2010 football season, tailgating rules will remain the same as last season for most fans, but members of the Golden Knights Club, an organization that, through donations, helps fund athletic scholarships and capital improvements, will be offered premium parking spots and have the option to tailgate as early as 8 a.m. for night games.

Biological Sciences Building evacuated due to odor
The Biological Sciences building has reopened after officials from the Orange County Hazardous Materials team determined the strange odor was not chemical-related.
Chad Binette of UCF News & Information said that a burned out air handler, part of an air conditioning unit, set off a smoke detector in the building which prompted UCF Police to contact Orange County Fire Rescue out of "an abundance of caution."
Binette said he is unsure of the number of students and faculty that were evacuated, but it was much lower than in a normal week because of spring break.

The Student Government Association Senate voted 41-0 in approval of the 2010-2011 Activity & Service Fee Budget and accompanying bill in its entirety during Thursday's special session.
The senate also voted 12-28 against a proposed amendment that would have replenished the MSC Funding Board to the levels of funding it had before it was zero-funded on March 19.
