A UCF student and Wackadoo's employee died in a car crash Tuesday morning, according to WKMG Local 6.

20-year-old Taylor Lauren Wynn was driving on State Road 520 and Satellite Boulevard when she lost control of her vehicle and went off the road and into oncoming traffic. The car was hit on the driver's side around 6 a.m., according to Local 6.

It was raining at the time of the crash.

Student Government Association President Matthew McCann announced the student's death Tuesday at the Activity and Service Fee Budget Committee meeting.

According to UCF records, Wynn was a health sciences pre-clinical major.

Kyle Hickman, a friend of Wynn's, described her as a cheerful person.

"She had such a great personality, she was always smiling and she was always pleasant even if she was having a bad day -- you would never even know unless you asked. She was always smiling, beaming," the educational technology major said.

The two met a couple of years ago at UCF. Hickman said he would sometimes visit her at work.

"She would always make sure I sat at one of her tables at Wackadoo's... I never even had to order my drinks, when I sat down she was already running over with it," the graduate student said during a phone interview.

Megan Montgomery, Wynn's passenger and a UCF student, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle suffered no injuries.

A visitation will be held for Wynn at First United Methodist Church in Vero Beach from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. the following day.
