Glover owned and operated the "Vortex Amazing" attraction in the UCF area.

The owner and operator of local attraction "Vortex Amazing" faces charges of aggravated battery after he was arrested on Jan. 31, according to an Orange County Sheriff's Office report.

According to the report, Thomas Glover of Orlando, attempted to strangle another man named Robert Dean in the parking lot of the BP gas station located at 1300 Aloma Ave. in Winter Park.

Dean had approached Glover to see what his attraction, Vortex Amazing, was about. According to the report, the conversation between the two turned violent when they began discussing religion. Dean told deputies that Glover strangled him to the point of blacking out, and feared he was going to die.

Deputies found Glover driving on University Boulevard, with the white Vortex Amazing trailer in tow, near Econlockhatchee Trail.

Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the scene to treat Dean.
