Two robberies occurred on the University of Central Florida campus around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, according to the UCF Police Department.
Victims of both incidents had been at the Knight Library bar located on University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail.
One group of victims was robbed at Aquarius Agora Drive and Gemini Boulevard and the other group was robbed near Academic Village off of Libra Drive. Both groups were robbed at knifepoint, but no one was injured.
The suspects have been described as three or four Hispanic males about 19-25 years old, driving in a gray or green low-riding Honda.
"It looks like they're staking out the Knight Library," said Sgt. Troy Williamson, the community relations supervisor.
Police are asking students to be careful and to not be walking on campus roadways during the late-night or early-morning hours, especially if returning home from a bar. If confronted by the suspects, police ask that students do not put themselves in danger and give the suspects what they want.
Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to contact UCF police or Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS (8477).
