Seven shows are set to take the stage for the 2014-15 Theatre UCF schedule, spanning from August to March.

The shows coming to the UCF Blackbox Theater and the Mainstage are: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Baltimore Waltz, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Trevor, Arcadia, (a love story) and Nine.

"We do a mixture of musicals, plays and contemporary and heightened-language plays, so our season reflects the diverse mix of opportunities for the students," said Heather Gibson, the marketing director for Theatre UCF.

Casting for the fall and first spring shows began the week before fall classes started, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be holding four performances the weekend of Aug. 21.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee encourages audience participation. Questionnaires taken before the show will be used to determine which audience members are brought on stage to become spelling stars in their own right.
