Hard Rock seeks student models starting Wednesday
Hard Rock will be pairing up with CAB to allow students the chance to enter a model search and receive a Hard Rock classic T-shirt on Sept. 3, 9, 11 and 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to an email from marketing intern Carolina Gonzalez-Llanos, there will be a table with craft supplies that students can use to decorate their shirts with designs of their choice.
Hard Rock employees will be present to assist students with ideas for styles.
Once the students have decorated their shirts, they will put them on and have their picture taken, which will then be uploaded to an album on the Hard Rock Live Orlando page.
Students will be given one week from the upload date to get as many likes as they can on their picture.
After the voting period, the top 30 men and top 30 women will move on to the Live Walk-off round on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Hard Rock Live venue at Universal CityWalk at 9 p.m.
Men will compete against men, and women against women, for the one-on-one walk-off competition in the first round.
Four judges will save one contestant each during the first round.
The contestants will individually walk the runway and be scored by the judges based on predetermined criteria for the second round.
There will be a short break where Hard Rock Live will be raffling off two pairs of tickets to see Foster the People; one male and one female winner will be announced.
The grand prizes for the winner of the model search include a $2,500 scholarship, an all-expense paid trip for the winner and a guest to Riviera Maya, Mexico to walk the runway in Hard Rock International's annual Global Conference Fashion Show, and a modeling campaign with Hard Rock for 2015.
