Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge Paddlefest

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Lake Claire Recreational Area

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Outdoor Adventure will be kicking off the Campus Challenge with Paddlefest. UCF will be competing against nine other universities and colleges to get students outdoors. Learn how to kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard. There will be food and giveaways. Students should wear athletic clothing or bathing suits and bring their student IDs.

Seminole County: National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Oviedo Police Department, 300 Alexandria Blvd., Oviedo, and Seminole County Sheriff's Office, 1225 E. Broadway St., Oviedo

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding your home of expired and unwanted prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs. Bring your pills to a location in Seminole County. This service is anonymous and no questions will be asked.

Artlando

When: 11 a.m. to Sunday at noon

Where: Loch Haven Park, 900 E. Princeton St.

The Buzz: This art festival will have live performances by the Orlando Ballet, Orlando Science Center, Brass Band of Central Florida and more. There will be beer and cocktails, food trucks, an outdoor art walk and a kids zone. This is a pet-friendly event.

Peanut Butter Matinee Family Film
