Beer and Bacon Festival makes way to Central Florida
A festival of flavors with more than 30 unique craft beers and bacon specialties comes to Florida on Nov. 8.
Festival will open at 3 p.m., with craft beer sampling from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The second annual Beer and Bacon Festival will be held at Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte, produced by CBS Radio Orlando and led by MIX105.1, 1059 SUNNY FM, and 101.9 AMP Radio.
Senior vice president and Orlando market manager at CBS Radio, Dave Robbins, said, "Through the power of radio and our expertise in offering and producing signature events in Central Florida, we are ready to create memorable experiences with an emphasis on beer appreciation."
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate, with onsite parking available, according to the festival's website.
Restaurant appearances will include 4 Rivers Smokehouse, Cupcake Crazy, Miller's Ale House and Pizza Hut.
Some of the festivals will include CBS Radio on-air personalities meet & greet and live music mixers and interactive games and sponsor displays.
"I am so excited for the event this year – we're bringing you even more beer and bacon than last year," 1059 SUNNY FM's on-air talent Domino said.
"The Beer and Bacon Festival is a place to learn about craft beers and pay homage to bacon-inspired culinary favorites – it's simple, fun and delicious," Robbins said.
