World of Beer to open full kitchen
Fear not, World of Beer patrons. You'll soon have a chance to snack while you sip as the UCF-area World of Beer opens a full kitchen, tentatively on April 1.
"It will not be typical bar food such as wings, cheese sticks, etc.; our tavern-fare menu will consist of flatbreads, sandwiches and food along those lines," said World of Beer marketing and communications manager Kassie Ricotta.
Full menus are already in place at other locations, such as the downtown location at Lake Eola.
"I fully support their decision to open a full kitchen. It drives more traffic and keeps people staying around longer and having a better time," said Dan Walkins, a manager at the World of Beer downtown location.
Favorite menu options in the downtown location, such as the Margherita Flatbread and the most popular WOB German Pretzel, will be featured at the UCF area.
UCF-area location manager Chris Eldridge is still working out tavern fare plans for the soon-to-open kitchen, but students can stay tuned for news and details as they are announced.
