UCF students will have another shopping option this April when a new boutique opens in the Waterford Lakes Town Center.
Forema Boutique plans to open between TJ Maxx and Ross in the location that used to house Stalhi Boutique. Stalhi closed after nearly 10 years this past December.
The family-run business did not renew its 10-year lease after being offered a business opportunity in California.
"Forema Boutique offers unique yet affordable clothing that caters to any occasion with its free-spirited and boho-chic style," according to a press release from Dancie Perugini Ware Public Relations. "Shoppers will have the opportunity to spice up their wardrobe with Forema's weekly new arrivals, including jeans, sundresses, tops, accessories and sun hats."
Shoppers will find clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories for any occasion, according to the boutique's website. Sarah Katsandris, owner of Forema Boutique, said that she wants the boutique to inspire girls and women to be themselves.
"When you find that perfect top, it makes you so happy and it gives you confidence," Katsandris said.
Katsandris also plans on coming to the UCF campus for Market Wednesdays.
The Waterford Lakes location will be the third store for the Florida-based boutique, and the second in the Orlando area — with another location in downtown Winter Park.
