With finals around the corner, those wanting a study break can dive into some fun at the UCF Spring Splashdown poolside party.
The kick-off event for summer is presented by UCF's Recreation and Wellness Center, Late Knights and the Campus Activities Board at the Recreation and Wellness Center's Leisure Pool starts on Friday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The night will feature some of the favorites from the previous four Splashdowns, such as the foam pit in the grassy area of the Leisure Pool and a mechanical surfboard.
Free food, tank tops and prizes will be available for attendees. Food will be provided by Flippers Pizzeria and Smoothie King.
"There will be some glow-in-the-dark giveaways for those who arrive early," said Aquatics Program Lead CJ Stancheski, who said organizers are hoping for 600 students to attend.
While students get some grub and play games, DJ Montezuma will be spinning away.
Everyone with a UCF ID can attend. If you don't have a UCF ID, you must be a guest of someone with a UCF ID.
