Miss Holly Wilder takes over Yum Yum Truck
Local food truck Yum Yum Cupcakes, which previously took up residence at UCF for a period of time, has been taken over and rebranded by Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly.
The popular cupcake and frozen yogurt shop located in the Waterford Lakes Town Center bought out Yum Yum Cupcakes earlier this year, and it has since turned it into something new — Sweet Wheels.
Sweet Wheels will feature a special menu, made up of a variety of classic size cupcakes not available in stores. Personal-sized cookies as well as soft serve ice cream and toppings will also be offered.
Assistant manager and event coordinator at Sweet!’s Waterford Lakes location Sandy Czarniecki said expanding the business to wheels is only just the beginning for Sweet! By Holly.
“In the future we hope to expand the menu with more sweet treats and a savory menu,” said Czarniecki, a senior hospitality major.
Sweet Wheels is expected to start running some time this fall. The company plans to continue Yum Yum’s practice of making frequent visits to UCF, as well as food truck events, Disney locations and other corporate functions.
Sweet! By Holly cupcakes were voted the No. 1 cupcake in Orlando in Orlando Weekly’s “Best of Orlando” polls.
Owner Hollis Wilder is also three-time Food Network Cupcake Wars champion.
