Pumpkin-spice lovers, the moment you’ve been waiting for all year is now just around the corner.
Starbucks’ pumpkin-spice lattes will return on Sept. 8 with some tweaks. The drink will now be made with real pumpkin and will not have the traditional caramel coloring added.
Dunkin’ Donuts is also set to enter pumpkin season Monday by introducing a new line of pumpkin-flavored treats, according to a press release. This year’s pumpkin menu includes hot or iced pumpkin coffee and lattes, the Pumpkin Donut and MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats, pumpkin muffins, Pumpkin K-Cup® pods and packaged coffee. New treats include The Reese’s Peanut Butter Square, the Pumpkin Cheesecake Square and the Pumpkin Pie Coolatta.
Additionally, one new treat will be exclusive only to Orlando Dunkin’ Donuts locations, the Homestyle Apple Pie, the release states.
The launch comes later this year for Starbucks customers, who were able to enjoy pumpkin-flavored coffee by Sept. 2 last year, and earlier this year for Dunkin’ Donuts customers, who will enjoy the launch of the pumpkin season one day earlier than last year.
