The Buzz:Art in Odd Places presents an inaugural visual arts and performance festival. The concept behind the festival is to break down barriers in public spaces and bring them to life through art in unexpected places.

Cake and SugarCraft Fair

When:Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Orange County Covention Center; 9800 International Drive, Orlando

The Buzz:The Cake and SugarCraft fair is a three-day convention that will be open to the public and include cake demonstrations, competitions and Buddy Valastro from TLC’s hit series Cake Boss.

Halloween Horror Nights: 25

When: 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Where: Universal Orlando; 6000 Universal Blvd., Orlando

Cost: $60.99

The Buzz:For select nights from Friday to Nov. 1, Jack the Clown will make his return to present Halloween Horror Nights. For the year, attendees can explore nine haunted houses, five scare zones and two live shows, as well as many of the park’s rides and attractions.

Saturday, Sept. 19

Orlando Bike Tours: Workout & Refresh

When:8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: TV Fitness Pros; 1005 Virginia Drive, Orlando

The Buzz:Orlando Bike Tours is hosting a group bootcamp session with professional trainers who will offer yoga, healthy smoothies and resistance training.

The Maine at House of Blues

The Buzz: The Maine will be performing a free show for its fans as part of its Free For All tour. Attendance is first come, first served.

The Buzz:UCF’s Global Perspectives Office will sponsor a visit from Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Ndaba Mandela. Mandela will host a discussion where he will be speaking about his organization, the Africa Rising Foundation, as well as discuss his grandfather’s impact and outlook for the future of Africa.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

The Neighbourhood with Bad Suns and Hunny

Where:House of Blues; 1490 E. Lake Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista

The Buzz:The Neighbourhood embarks on The Flood Tour at the House of Blues Orlando, which has general admission standing room. This event is for all ages. For accessible seating the guest must purchase a general admission standing ticket and arrive to the venue 20 minutes before door time and be waiting on the accessible ramp. The guest with accessible needs is allowed one guest with him or her.
