Theatre UCF will be hosting its annual costume sale on Friday to help raise funds for the department.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the small design room on the second floor of the Theatre building, one-of-a-kind costumes from recent UCF productions will be available for sale. Everything from wedding dresses, wigs, shoes and fabric grab bags will be available.
The Theatre UCF department didn’t have its sale last year, so there will be more inventory than in previous years, according to a press release.
Most items are priced under $10, with the exception of some gowns being priced more than $20.
“The costume sale is a great way for the UCF community to get outside the box for their Halloween costumes — not just have another mass-produced costume — without spending ridiculous amounts of money,” said Daniel M. Jones, the manager of Theatre UCF’s costume shop.
“We provide the materials for inspiration and creativity by offering up those items that we created so they can have another life off the stage,” Jones said.
Check and cash are permitted, but credit cards will not be accepted.
