Internship Isn’t a Knightmare

Where: Morgridge International Reading Center

The Buzz: Join the Education Student College Council for its third annual event, which will provide students with an opportunity to ask a panel of other students, advisers and graduates questions about their internship experiences.

Halloween Spooktacular Event

When: 7:30 p.m. to 10 a.m.

Where: UCF Arboretum

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Students are invited to camp overnight, tour through the Arboretum Natural Lands trail, listen to a ghost story in the Oak Hammock, watch a scary movie and enjoy a fire pit with free food. UCF Cares: The Journey

When: 7 p.m.

Where: Visual Arts Building auditorium

Cost: Free, donations are accepted

The Buzz: In cooperation with Theatre UCF, this is the second annual cabaret benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Donations will benefit one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. There will be a raffle for autographed Broadway posters after the show.

Orlando Ballet’s “Giselle”

When: 8 p.m.

Where: Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts; 445 S. Magnolia Ave., Orlando

Family Fiesta: Two Year Anniversary Celebration

Where: East End Market; 3201 Corrine Drive, Orlando

The Buzz: East End Market is celebrating its two-year anniversary, with a Dia de los Muertos theme. There will be face-painting, trick-or-treating, DIY crafts and more in the courtyard.

Third Annual Thornton Park Halloween Block Party

When: 8 p.m.

Where: Thornton Park District

Cost: $10 pre-sale

The Buzz: Live music, a costume contest, free photobooth and a “dark art” market will liven up the brick streets of Thornton Park, where visitors can enjoy a Halloween night. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Thornton Park District.

The Buzz: Dr. Lana Williams of the UCF Anthropology Department will discuss the science of real mummies and movie mummies prior to a screening of Boris Karloff’s 1932 classic The Mummy.

Halloween Horror Nights: 25

Where: Universal Orlando; 6000 Universal Blvd., Orlando

Cost: $49.99 for Florida residents

The Buzz: This is the last night for the Halloween attraction. Attendees can explore nine haunted houses, five scare zones and two live shows.

Fleece It Up!

When: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Cedar Key, Room 223

Cost: Free

The Buzz: UCF SGA is inviting everyone to make fleece blankets in the Student Union for Central Florida’s homeless.

Casselberry Food & Wine Festival

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Secret Lake Park; 200 N. Lake Triplet Drive, Casselberry

Cost: $18 to $25

The Buzz: Enjoy food and wine from restaurants and caterers of Casselberry. Attendees will also be able to enjoy music and a silent auction.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

Collide Contemporary Music Series: Graduate Chamber Ensemble

When: 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Rehearsal Hall Auditorium

The Buzz: Guests can enjoy the musical talents of Graduate Chamber Ensemble at this music series, which is open to the public.

“America’s Got Talent” Live: The All-Stars Tour!

Where: Hard Rock Live Orlando, 6050 Universal Blvd., Orlando

Cost: $37.50 to $57.50

The Buzz:America’s Got Talent Live: The All-Stars Tour! will feature some of the most popular performers from the hit NBC variety competition series. The first-ever all-stars tour will see top acts from 10 years of the summer reality television series.

Wednesday, Nov. 4

2015 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

When: All day

Where: Epcot, 200 Epcot Center Drive, Lake Buena Vista

Cost: Included in Epcot theme park admission; starting at $97 for a one-day ticket

The Buzz: Attendees will be able to sample offerings from celebrity chefs, go to live cooking demonstrations and live concerts.

Yoga Under the Stars

When: 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Recreation and Wellness Center, Leisure Pool Green

Cost: Free

The Buzz: Join fellow yoga lovers for a night of calm under the stars. Participants need to bring their student ID, and it’s recommended they bring a water bottle and mat or towel.
