In the wake of unveiling new enhancements and expansion plans earlier this month, Artegon Marketplace honors its first year with a weeklong celebration of free festivities.
The weeklong celebration kicks off on November 16 and includes the opening of a new pop-up art shop, a wine walk and beer festival, a music festival and more, according to a press release. Here’s a breakdown of Artegon’s upcoming events:
Monday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sip. Stroll. Shop.
Stroll through the marketplace while sampling a variety of more than 10 wines paired with bite-sized food samples that enhance each wine. Tasting stations are spread across the marketplace and all samples are free while supplies last. The first 150 shoppers will receive a commemorative Artegon-embossed stemless wine glass.
The ARTegon Co-op Opening Gala
Artegon celebrates the opening of of its new art-oriented pop-up shop with an opening gala. Opening festivities include free appetizers and beverages.
Tuesday, Nov. 17, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Art of Beer
Tap into a sampling of more than 10 styles of of Florida craft beers while enjoying live music and discounted food deals from Artegon vendors. The first 150 guests will receive a commemorative Artegon-embossed glass mug.
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
A free movie screening of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will be premiered at the newly renovated Artegon Cinemark. Screening is limited to 125 guests who preregister on Nov. 16 or Nov. 17 with Artegon’s Guest Services. A cocktail reception leading up to the premiere begins at 6:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 8 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 19, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
As a thank you to all guests, Artegon Marketplace will be giving away free prizes every hour to lucky shoppers. Prizes include gift cards to a number of Artegon’s retailers, free meals at Artegon’s eateries, free movie passes and other unexpected prizes throughout the day.
Friday, Nov. 20, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Family Food Truck Night
Enjoy food and taste offerings from local gourmet food trucks. Guests who spend $20 or more during the event will receive a five Food Truck Bucks, redeemable at any food truck that evening. There will be meet-and-greet opportunities with mascots such as UCF’s Knightro, Solar Bears’ Shades, Orlando Magic’s Stuff, three Orlando Predators dancers and Orlando City’s street team.
Saturday, Nov. 21, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Artegon’s Festival of Music
The grand finale to wrap up Artegon’s weeklong celebration features and daylong free concert hosted by NSYNC’s Joey Fatone. Music performances include Aaron Carter, Orlando-based band Before You Exit and more. Food truck samplings and meet-and-greets with select artists will also be available. Guests who spend $20 or more at the event will receive five Food Truck Bucks to use at any food truck that evening. For a full list of performances, visit Artegon.com.
