Uncle Maddio’s Pizza is set to open in Waterford Lakes Town Center this spring.

“The Original Create-your-own-pizza Joint” will open in the space between California Pizza Kitchen and Too Jay’s Original Gourmet Deli, according to a press release.

Diners will be able to create their own pizzas with three different dough choices, six difference sauce options and over 45 cheeses, meats, veggie toppings and custom salads and sandwiches.

Jamie Fraser, director or marketing and business development at Waterford Lakes Town Center, said in the release that Uncle Maddio’s Pizza is a fun, personalized new concept in dining that shoppers are sure to enjoy.

“With a fast, fresh and affordable menu offering a variety of combinations designed to please everyone, it will make a great addition to our diverse mix of family friendly restaurants, entertainment and retail stores,” Fraser said.

The Waterford Lakes location will be the first Uncle Maddio’s Pizza to in the greater Orlando market, and the first in Florida to open south of Ocala.

Michael Holmes, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza co-owner, said that his team can’t wait to serve Orlando.

"Our team is extremely excited to show the shoppers of Waterford Lakes Town Center what Uncle Maddio's Pizza is all about – from the endless pizza creations and out-of-this-world secret recipes served in a fun, family atmosphere to our many community outreach programs,” Holmes said in the release.

Uncle Maddio’s Pizza is amongst several other new dining options available at the town center, including Zaza New Cuban Diner and Social House.

Once the restaurant opens, it will operate seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
