Tired of the old watering holes around town? Then put on your cowboy boots and giddy-up over to Lake Buena Vista, where Saddle Up American Bar will be opening its second location.
Saddle Up currently has only one location in Downtown Orlando and is owned by the Orlando-based hospitality organization Team Market Group, which also owns Knight's Pub. The new bar will be located at the corner of World Center Drive and State Road 535, right in the heart of the Disney area and close to the Rosen College of Hospitality Management campus.
The new location will differentiate itself from the one downtown by installing a new smoker as the kitchen centerpiece to put an emphasis on its barbecue menu, according to a press release.
“We are thrilled for the new place," said Bryan Hancock, General Manager of Saddle Up Lake Buena Vista, in the release. “Being able to offer a full barbecue menu centered around our enormous bar with 20 draft taps, along with game tables and a dance floor is everything we’ve ever wanted. We’ve tried to enhance the current concept and build on all of the feedback we’ve received over the past two years at our Downtown Orlando Saddle Up. Now we have room to apply it in a more spacious location.”
The country bar will be much larger than it's current location and offer guests specials on cocktails, wine and beer, projection screens and HD TVs, darts, pool, ping pong and an outdoor patio. There is no cover charge.
The grand opening is set for St. Patrick's Day, Thursday, March 17 at 8200 World Center Drive, Orlando.
