The Student Government Association has announced plans to hold a watch party for the upcoming Croke Park Classic game at 7 a.m. Aug. 30 in front the the CFE Arena.

The game will feature the UCF Knights vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions in Dublin, Ireland, which accounts for the game's early morning showing.

Admission is free, but seating will be limited, according to a statement released by the university.

There will be 500 free T-shirts distributed to attendees by the SGA and a free prize giveaway and halftime show sponsored by the CFE Federal Credit Union. The pep band, cheerleading squad and members of other varsity athletic teams will also be in attendance.

"This is truly a unique experience for our entire university," assistant director of external operations James Gilmore said in a release. "This watch party will be a great event for our students and the community to come together and watch our Knights battle a competitive Penn State team. With our first home football game not until Sept. 20, the watch party will be an excellent opportunity for new students to meet one another and experience the atmosphere of a UCF football game without actually being at one."
