The International House of Pancakes announced that it will be serving two new waffles.
To introduce its brand-new "Waffullicious Waffles," HOP will now be serving a Bac' n' Cheddar waffle — a Belgian waffle cooked with chopped hickory bacon and cheddar cheese and topped with pieces of bacon — and a Very Blueberry Cheesecake waffle — a Belgian waffle cooked with blueberries and pieces of New York Cheesecake and topped with more cheesecake pieces and blueberries in a sweet syrup. For the first time, according to a release from IHOP, the ingredients will be cooked right into the batter.
In the past, IHOP has served chicken and waffles, Belgian waffles and sweet cream-topped waffles.
"Waffles are one of the most popular items on our menu and one of the reasons people come to IHOP — that's why we're always looking for innovative and exciting new ways to create them," said Marie Grimm, IHOP LLC's vice president of culinary and menu, in a release.
Waffullicious Waffles will be available for a limited time from Sept. 8 to Nov. 2 this year and can be ordered either as an item on its own or as a half waffle alongside a two-egg any-style made-to-order combo breakfast, according to the release.
