UCF will host an Employment Boot Camp this Thursday — but in lieu of combat boots and camo, come wearing your best business casual garb.
More than 30 employers, ranging from retail to engineering companies, will provide their professional opinions and advice on how to get your feet wet with major corporations in different fields of study at noon in the Student Union's Pegasus Ballroom.
At the start of the boot camp, panels of employers will discuss what they want to hear from prospective applicants. Along with that, students will have the opportunity to have one-on-one time with employers as they critique their resumes and perform mock interviews.
This event provides guidance for next week's grand fall event — the Career Expo happening Sept. 24 at the CFE Arena where there will be more than 200 employers looking for new employees.
