A deck of cards may be fun for playing with friends or winning money at a casino, but now it may be used to help fight against a rare and deadly disease — Ebola.

UCF researchers recently created a unique deck called "Ebola Cards," according a report by FOX 35.

Just like a normal deck, it consists of 52 cards with values and suits; what makes this deck different is that each card also has different medical information about Ebola.

The cards are designed to provide military medical workers with crucial information about the disease and the appropriate medical protocols.

Medics can also engage in traditional card games with the deck and read information about the disease as they play.
