As the holiday season approaches, some students may want to utilize the SGA Knight Flight shuttle to make their way home.

Knight Flight is a free shuttle service offered by the Student Government Association for all UCF students who need rides to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO). It is intended to cater to students who may have to fly home when UCF is closed. The service will run during select days beginning Nov. 25.

Although this is the third year Knight Flight has been in operation, Facilities and Transportation Specialist Christopher Clemente has been working to expand the program to help it see continued growth.

"Knight Flight is an invaluable service for UCF's out-of-state and international student community," Clemente said in a release. "I am happy to play a big role in implementing a program that assists students in getting home for the holidays to celebrate and reconnect with family. I look forward to seeing this program grow to impact more students and advance the platform goal of ensuring a safer, more cohesive campus environment."

In order to reserve a spot on the Knight Flight shuttle, students must visit the Knight Flight page on www.ucfsga.com. From there, they have to select the date and time they would like, then input their name and Knights email.

Students should be sure to register for a time and date leaving campus to Orlando International and also a later return time and date. The shuttle picks students up from the LYNX terminals between Garage A and Garage I. The pick-up locations at the airport are at Terminal A-29 and Terminal B-38 for when students are returning back to UCF.

The last operation dates for Knight Flight are Jan. 8 and 9.
