Rosen College students have been tapped to develop marketing plans for the new I-Drive 360 entertainment facility under construction along International Drive.
Eight teams of Rosen College hospitality management and event majors have spent this semester developing 10-point marketing plans for I-Drive 360 in their first Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism course.
I-Drive 360 includes the Orlando Eye observation wheel, Madame Tussauds wax museum, a SEA LIFE aquarium, restaurants and shops.
Beginning this week, the teams will present their marketing plans to John Stine, the director of marketing and sales for I-Drive 360, and his associates, who will choose the winners. First, second and third place teams will receive admission to the attractions and students' ideas may be implemented in marketing initiatives for I-Drive 360.
I-Drive 360 is expected to open in spring 2015.
