As UCF's enrollment continues to climb, as does the need for police officers on and around campus.
The UCF Police Department is looking to hire 15 new officers each of the next several years, according to Public Information Officer for UCFPD Courtney Gilmartin.
The department is also unveiling a new car to help with marketing that has numerous UCF landmarks as a part of its design, the release states.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that the starting salaries for the new officers is expected to be around $40,000 per year.
