Jennifer Percy, author of the novel "Demon Camp: A Soldier's Exorcism," will be at UCF on Tuesday, Feb. 3 for a book reading and question session.
The event will be held in Health and Public Affairs 1, room 125 at 7:30 p.m.
Published by Simon & Schuster, Inc., this reportedly true story follows a group of veterans of the military in Iraq and Afghanistan as they attempt to deal with their post-war lives back home.
"Demon Camp" focuses on the hardships of post-traumatic stress disorder that one American solider, Caleb Daniels, faces. In the book, Percy shines light on U.S. military soldiers and what haunts them after war.
Percy is a graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop and teaches creative writing at New York University. She has a double MFA from the University of Iowa.
