Have you ever wanted your love of beer to benefit your four-legged friend? Well Sanford may have just what you're looking for.
The fourth annual Pints n' Paws Craft Beer Festival comes to Sanford March 28 and will dominate the block between 2nd Street and Palmetto Avenue in Downtown Sanford.
All money raised from the event, according to the event page on Facebook, benefits Dolly's Foundation, a Sanford nonprofit organization that offers free spay and neuter services to pet owners in the Central Florida area, and Pet Resue by Judy.
Pre-sale tickets are $20 for general admission, and on the day of the event, ticket price go up to $30. Tickets will give visitors access to a beer tasting from more than 70 breweries from 3 p.n. to 7 p.m
VIP tickets are also available for $30 and come with early admission to the event, a free event shirt and a swag bag.
The event is sponsored by SweetWater Brewing, Fireball, Todd's Tomatoes, Charles Davis Nationwide Insurance, Wayne Densch and Paw Park Place.
Festival events that cater to canines include a best trick contest, a best pet costume contest as well as a puppy cover photo contest, where a photographer will take a photo of your pet and after a $5 donation, their photo will be posted on the event's Facebook page. The dog with the most votes earns a spot on next year's event poster.
