UCF SGA extends shuttle hours for St. Patrick's Day
So you're decked out in green to avoid those leprechaun pinches. But what about figuring out a ride tonight to avoid that DUI?
Well you must be Irish, because you're in luck. UCF's Student Government Association has extended shuttle hours from 10 p.m. to 3:15 a.m., according to an email from Christopher Hixon, public relations coordinator for SGA.
After a suggestion from the UCF Police Department, the Office of Student Involvement and SGA have team up with UCF Parking Services to extend the service for one night only.
"Of course we all know that March 17th is a busy day for the businesses across from campus on University and Alafaya, and we anticipate a higher than normal volume of pedestrians trying to cross some busy streets," Director of OSI Michael Preston said in an email forwarded by Hixon.
