SGA to reward UCF students caught cramming for finals
This might be the first all-nighter UCF students can actually look forward to. For students caught with their faces tucked between the pages of their textbooks next week, their hard work will not go unnoticed.
Student Government Association members will be randomly dispersing drawstring bookbags filled with goodies to students studying in the John C. Hitt Library on April 27 from 7 p.m. to midnight as part of its annual Kram for the Exam event.
The bags will include study materials such as note cards, Post-it notes, pens, pencils and highlighters. It will also contain snacks to keep students' stomachs happy while they cram. The snacks will be mints, gummies, Cheez-Its and water bottles, said academic affairs specialist Joseph Piazza.
Piazza added that three lucky students will also find a golden ticket in their drawstring bookbags. The golden-ticket finders will receive prize bags provided by the library.
April 27 marks the last day of classes, after which, students have that Tuesday as a university-wide study day. Finals exams will take place between April 29 and May 5.
