UCF grad to compete for 2nd chance on 'Survivor'
"Survivor" fans can catch UCF graduate, Monica Padilla, competing next season for the grand prize on "Survivor: Second Chance."
Padilla, a theatre major who graduated in 2005, is back for her second chance to win the title of "Sole Survivor."
In 2009, she competed as a contestant on "Survivor: Samoa" but was voted off on day 33 with a 5-2 vote.
Fans got the opportunity to vote for Padilla to return for the 31st season of survivor in a fan-favorite contest, hosted by CBS. The contest allowed fans to vote for two weeks, narrowing down the cast from 32 to 20 contestants.
On Wednesday night, Padilla and the rest of the "Survivor: Second Chance" cast was revealed by host, Jeff Probst, during the "Survivor: Worlds Apart" reunion.
Padilla and the other contestants were sent to Cambodia, where they will compete for a $1 million cash prize.
