Starting tomorrow, the UCF Police Department will host 6 p.m. conversations at four local apartments to discuss personal safety.
Tuesday, June 16: The Marquee Phase 1 Clubhouse
Monday, June 22: Village at Science Drive
Tuesday, June 23: The Edge
Thursday, June 25: Plaza on University
The planned events follow the new initiative that UCF PD and the Orange County Sheriff's Office will implement to ensure safety near UCF.
Last month, the departments announced a new program called Sector II Noise Alcohol Patrols, or SNAP, which was created to make certain that students and visitors in the area remain safe.
Along with the upcoming apartment appearances, UCF PD spokeswoman Courtney Gilmartin said community relations officers will also be presenting at new student and parent orientations all summer.
