Three UCF students could get lucky very soon.
The UCF Wellness & Health Promotion Services has teamed up with ONE Condoms to promote safer sex by creating a contest where students can design and submit a condom wrapper.
The internal UCF design contest hopes to "[encourage] students to talk about consent and safe sex," said Maureen Hawkins, director of the Wellness & Health Promotion Services.
Three designs will be chosen by July 15 and the winners will be notified by email, said Hawkins. In addition, the winners will receive a Wacom Bamboo tablet as a prize.
UCF will not be submitting the winning entries into the official ONE contest. Instead, it is up to the designers to send in their entries.
The criteria for the designs include using black and gold in some way, refraining from putting in vulgar graphics or words and adhering with UCF's marketing and trademark rules, which can be found online.
"ONE Condom is one of the brands we make available on campus. Our condoms are provided through Orange County Public Health Office," said Hawkins.
Designers can send their submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline, which has been extended, will end July 3.
