The UCF Student Union and Recreation and Wellness Center are teaming up Wednesday to support and raise money for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Union and will feature a stationary bike race, a Dance Fusion class and other activities for chances to win prizes, according to its Facebook page.
The Union is also hosting an online auction, where participants can purchase a ceiling tile that they can decorate and have displayed in the Union's food court for the semester.
Last September, the AHA hosted the Greater Orlando Heart Walk at UCF on Memory Mall, which brought more than 20,000 participants and raised nearly $1 million.
This year, the Heart Walk returns to Memory Mall on Saturday at 7 a.m. and will feature a one-mile Survivor Route and a 5K Route.
To register, visit the Greater Orlando Heart Walk website.
