Halloween is coming a little early to UCF's Greek Park Drive.
UCF Fraternity and Sorority Life will be hosting its annual Trick or Treat on Greek Street on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Local kids and their families are invited to come enjoy festive games and indulge in sweets as they walk up and down the street, which will be blocked off from traffic for the event.
The event also benefits the Boys & Girls Club, as 120 local children will come take part in the festivities. Greek Council President Jordan Kuveke said the children will be given pizza and dessert at two houses on Greek Park Drive, in addition to playing the Halloween-themed games different sororities and fraternities from all four Greek councils will be hosting.
"It's an important way for the Greek community to engage in community around us, as well as children from the Boys & Girls Club," Kuveke said.
While the event is free, donations or T-shirt sales are available and will be benefit the Boys & Girls Club. Funds raised will also go toward the Pack to Attack Hunger event on Nov. 14, where UCF Fraternity and Sorority Life and UCF Athletics will come together to package meals for those in need in the Orlando community.
