Since late May, Libra Drive has been closed to expand the road from two lanes to four, and is set to be completed by May 2016.
Along with four lanes, the finished expansion will provide bike lanes on both sides of the road and permanent sidewalks on the west side of the road, according to a release.
"Libra Drive is open to vehicular and bike traffic throughout construction, however the use of alternate routes is recommended," the release states. "Libra Drive is closed to pedestrians during construction."
UCF Police will continue to enforce the 20-mph speed limit while construction is underway.
