Whitney Barnes was confirmed as the new supervisor of elections Thursday night during the UCF SGA Senate meeting.
Barnes served as the assistant elections supervisor in September, after former supervisor Nicklas Bajema resigned from the role days before elections. Bajema says he resigned due to "receiving bullying" and being called negative names from high-up SGA members.
Barnes said she wants to start adding candidates' platform points to the SGA website sooner, as well as make the elections system and rules more clear and emphasized for a smooth elections process next semester.
