UCF Police responded to an attempted burglary at Knights Circle early Tuesday morning, according to a UCF alert.

“Regarding the burglary, two men knocked and twisted the door handle of the unit in Knights Circle in an attempt to break in,” said UCF Police spokeswoman Courtney Gilmartin.

The suspects were not caught and had fled the scene by the time UCF PD arrived, Gilmartin said, and a K-9 track had negative results.

Gilmartin said the suspects were described as "two white males, one wearing a black shirt, dark pants and ski mask and the other wearing and a red and black shirt." However, she added that the victims only saw the suspects through the peephole, so these descriptions were vague.

UCF PD asks anyone who sees anything suspicious to either call 911 or UCF Police at (407) 823-5555.
