The UCF Police Department responded to a report of an aggravated assault that took place on UCF's Greek Park Court around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

After seeing Sigma Chi chapter members sitting on the front porch of the house, three men approached them, questioned them and began to walk through the parking lot looking at cars. When they were asked to leave, a silver handgun was pulled, according to a release.

The men took off in a silver Mustang with chrome wheels, leaving through Gemini Boulevard and turning right onto Alafaya Trail.

UCF PD spokeswoman Courtney Gilmartin confirmed nobody was hurt during what is believed to be a random act of crime.

The fraternity members did not know the three men, who are described to be white wearing a yellow hoodie, black wearing a gray hoodie and Middle Eastern wearing a hoodie.

Investigators are working to follow up on the incident and ask anyone with information to contact UCF PD at 407-823-5555.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
