The UCF Police Department made an arrest last night in the campus Performing Art’s Center burglary. Thomas Patrick Williams, 24, faces felony charges of burglary of a structure and grand theft, according the arrest affidavit.

Williams, who has no ties to UCF, was identified by officers earlier this week and interviewed on Wednesday, when he admitted to being in the building and being the person recorded on the surveillance video.

A surveillance video showed Williams entering the building between Jan. 13 and Jan. 14. Missing items including a projector, a wireless access point and an American flag were reported the morning of Jan. 14.

During the interview, Williams gave vague details as to where the stolen items were located, and detectives recovered the projector and wireless access point this afternoon.

According to the arrest affidavit, Williams' bond is set at $3,650.
