The UCF Police Department is on the hunt for a person of interest involved in the theft of several items from a student’s purse.

The theft occurred during an Alpha Delta Pi sorority event on Jan. 18 at 5 p.m., according to the police report. The victim left her valuables under the supervision of a sorority member during the event. The next day, she discovered that 16 items were missing — total cost of the missing goods exceeds $100.

Security cameras captured an image of the suspect in Wal-Mart at 11250 E. Colonial Drive on Jan. 19.
