Live updates: SGA Senate meeting 5/26/2016
UCF's Student Government Association holds public, weekly senate meetings in the Student Union's Key West ballroom every Thursday at 7 p.m. during the spring and fall semesters. For the summer 2016 semester, SGA's Senate will convene at 7 p.m. on May 26, June 9 and 23, every Thursday in July and August 4.

SGA's first Senate meeting of the summer 2016 semester is called to order.
Roll call of SGA Senate is performed.
Student Body President Christopher Clemente announces new students who have been appointed to cabinet positions. Clemente announces that gender-neutral bathrooms will soon be added to the Student Union, there are plans to expand the bike share program with an additional 12 bikes, and SGA has bought more pink scantrons with the previous administration's surplus money. In response to a senator's question on whether such bathrooms will be added to the library. Clemente says that the "Student Union is just the starting point."
Senator Jacob Milich asks SGA president Christopher Clemente to comment on the ongoing accusation of SGA not being a real, student government.

" ...As long as we can allocate funds to students, as long as the executive branch can host programs and educate students ...I can sleep well at night so as long as I can do my job, I'm okay ... I feel debated right now to give public comment on that issue, but I'm willing to talk to you more about that, but as we all know, it's a complex issue ..." Clemente said in response to Milich's question.
FAO hasn't spent any money this month. However, next month, (June), will be used to train new members for new allocations predicted to come in July.
SGA is on a caucus break and will readjourn at 7:21 p.m.

SGA Speaker of the Senate Crystian Cepeda announces that the next Senate meetings on June 9 and June 23 will meet at 8 p.m., instead of 7 p.m.
