As spring semester approaches and move-in dates draw even closer, take note of these ongoing construction projects to avoid getting snarled in back-to-school traffic.

According to the FDOT Weekly Interstate report:

In Seminole County, I-4 will experience intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures east of SR 434 and west of Lake Mary Boulevard from Sunday to Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

In Orange County, workers will be busy resurfacing I-4 from the Osceola County lane to east of SR 536. No lanes will be closed.

In Volusia County, eastbound and westbound outside shoulder lanes will be closed in an area stretching from SR 44 to I-95 Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, lanes will be closed as needed from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

In Sumter County, the southbound outside lane between the rest area and CR 476B will be closed Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

In Marion County, workers will be conducting a maintenance project between mile markers 347 and 348. No lanes will be closed.

In Brevard County, workers will be widening I-95 between SR 406 and SR 44 from Sunday to Friday, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. No lanes will be closed.
